Hessel
Bay Sunset Cabins is located at the West Entrance
to the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands
in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula.
The resort is located on over an acre of land just
2 blocks west of Hessel Marina and has almost 300 feet
of lake frontage on Hessel Bay.
Our cabins provide the comforts of home while offering
peace and quiet-away from phones and other everyday
hassles. For your convenience, our cabins have fully
equipped kitchens, with full size appliances, including
microwave, toaster and coffee pot. All necessary dishes
and linens are provided. You only need to bring your
towels, food and personal items.
For your leisure time, we offer picnic tables and
grills for each cabin, sandy beach, horse shoe pit,
campfire
pit and the wood pile is always full. For a rental
fee, we have fishing boats, kayaks, and paddle boat
for use of sight seeing and fishing or just relaxing
fun.
Our beautiful sandy beach is perfect for families with
children, because you don’t have to cross the
road to get to our beach.
We get you started with a roll of paper towel and toilet tissue,
dish soap and salt
and pepper.
Hessel is charming and offers, a post office, Tavern
with some food items, a fine dining restaurant and
a convenience store with Liquor, gasoline, deli, ice
cream and other pantry items.
Cedarville,
only 3 miles away, has a fully stocked grocery store
with very competitive pricing where you can purchase
anything from fresh whitefish to whatever you may have
forgotten. |
