The Hessel Bay Cabins are located in the center of Hessel, Michigan. Within a walking distance you can reach the Les Cheneaux Culinary School for summertime gourmet cuisine, Islander Bar for year round dining, E. J. Mertaugh Boat Works and North Coast Company for ice cream and coffee, Nibblelungen for groceries and bites, and the Hessel School House for classes and Sunday's Farmer's Market. 


Hessel sits at the west entrance of the Les Cheneaux Islands. The Islands and surrounding communities have unlimited year round activities to keep you busy during your stay.

The cabins are perfectly set up for large groups celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, etc. Book activities for the group including cooking classes or catered meals from the culinary school.

Many local attractions include Tahquamenon Falls (1.5 hr), Drummond Island (1 hr), the Soo Locks (45 min), and a ferry to Mackinaw Island from St. Ignace (30 min).
